Andra Miller is a Certified Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).  She is also a Certified Brian Longevity Specialist through the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation.


After seeing the effect that yoga had in her own life Andra pursued her interest in yoga as therapy by completing 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2011 followed by 300 hour training in integrated health yoga therapy in 2014.  Based on this and ongoing work with clients she has been certified by IAYT since 2017.  Since then, Andra has led small classes and worked with clients one-on-one using focused breathing and yoga postures to encourage opening of joints and release of tension, stress and pain.  Andra has continued professional development in areas of interest such as Yoga as Medicine, Yoga for Osteoporosis, Yoga and Neuroscience and Rediscovering Freedom: Therapeutic Wisdom.

What is Therapeutic Yoga?

Therapeutic Yoga is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through application of the teachings and practices of yoga.  Therapeutic Yoga tailors mind/body practices to the health needs of individuals, moving from disease to ease.
